In this seminar, we are asking how we can leverage the skills, capabilities, and agency of humansand robots to create new and unique architectures. We investigate the shift of design agencybetween humans and robots through AR/MR systems. The roles of humans and robots areexplored through experimentation in the fabrication process that leverages the material propertiesof wood veneer strips for creating spatial structures. Students work with analog and digital tools ina hybrid workfl ow that challenges these roles when performing creative assembly tasks.
